A word from the Head of School

Dear Parents, Dear Students,

The French International School of Bratislava (EFIB), a member of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad) network, has been proud to offer high-quality education for nearly twenty years. Welcoming students of all nationalities, our institution provides a curriculum validated by the French Ministry of National Education, Youth, and Sports, and accredited by the Slovak Ministry of Education. This dual recognition allows students to enrich themselves through learning the Slovak language and culture.

Multilingualism is at the heart of our pedagogy. Indeed, English language instruction is reinforced from kindergarten through high school, and students also have the opportunity to study Spanish and German language. This personalized linguistic path prepares our students to pursue higher education internationally and aim for excellence.

Our primary mission is to create a stimulating environment where each student can fully develop their potential and thrive. We place great emphasis on fostering the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for both academic and personal success.

The EFIB school community encourages student engagement and autonomy, thereby shaping them into responsible citizens who uphold values of tolerance, open-mindedness, and humanism. As a member of the AEFE network, EFIB offers numerous opportunities for participation in both local and international projects, such as student exchanges, the French World Schools Week, Ambassadeurs en herbe (Young diplomats), and the International Youth Games.

This year, we are pleased to welcome more than 350 students, a testament to the trust you place in our dedicated and professional teams. We are committed to providing a peaceful and enriching learning environment conducive to the growth of each individual.

We wish all our students a year full of learning, marked by curiosity, sharing, and success.
